Facebook has recruited Google’s head of Latin America’s sale person. Wow, Facebook is surely getting the best brains for themselves.
Alexandre Hohagen has been asked to become vice president for sales in the region. Hohagen was behind Google’s Latin American presence over the past six years, and has served as a general manager in Brazil before becoming the head of the search engine’s entire operation in Latin America.

I always thought how do people use Bold or underline in Facebook chat. Well here is how to do that.
When you are chatting with some one on Facebook chat you just need to add some symbols to make your text as required. If you want to write an underlined message add underscore before and after the word.
Eg. Text
If you wish to write a Bold word then use asterix before and after the word.
Eg. Text
To use bold fonts type your message between two asterisks.
e.g. message

Yesterday we talked about how people can stalk more using this application called Breakup notifier. Well, today Facebook blocked it !
According to TechCrunch, the developer of stalking application got an email from Facebook saying,
To ensure positive user experiences on Platform, we run routine automated screens that take user feedback, machine learning and various algorithms into account and remove spammy applications. For example, if an application is making an inordinate number of stream.publish calls and receiving a large number of user reports, it may be removed by our automated systems to protect the user experience and the Platform ecosystem.
Breakup Notifier creator Dan Loewenherz, has contacted Facebook saying he is ready to do anything but he wants to keep running this application. If you go to the Breakup Notifier website now, you will see a message saying
Facebook has blocked Breakup Notifier. We’re trying to bring it back online. Please contact Facebook on Twitter to express your displeasure!
Well, I guess Facebook took a right step here! It is good that the app got blocked by Facebook ! 🙂 But, well lets see what happens. Share your views here.

Have you heard about the Facebook’s Chinese version? 😛 It is called renren which means everyone. 😀 Renren is a social networking website in China.
Renren is a six-year-old company that is called as “the Facebook of China”. Well the news is it may be the first social networking site to go all public. It is estimated to have 22m active users, renren is the largest site of its kind in China.
Facebook may go public in may 2010, which is estimated to be $600 million. Along with this there are other websites also that are planning to go public including Twitter and YouTube.

Today I saw that my friend has a lot of comments on his photograph on Facebook. When I tried to open the comments only, on my wall Facebook took me to the photograph!
Now, this is irritating ! If some one wants to see the comments only why should they see the image and all. The new photo feature is kind of time-consuming, it just shows you the total black screen for some time and then the photo.
It takes more time to load, kind of weird! If you want to unable this kind of photo viewing read this. Anyways, did you also find this feature irritating ? Share your likes n dislikes with me.

According to TOI, the government is keeping an eye on the “misuse” of social networking sites by anti-national elements in Jammu and Kashmir and northeast in India.
After the Egypt’s revolution it may be India now. 🙂 Defence minister AK Antony on Thursday said
We are aware some people are misusing these networks…we will put proper safeguards in place, take corrective action. But we are not for taking any hasty decision.
