This trick surprisingly increased my earnings 4 times from last few days! I have modified my blog code to put adsense ads between post title and post body!
Well this kind of ad placement will surely result in higher payout! But I’m demonstrating how to do that for blogger beta only! You can apply similar hack for other blogging platform! Google for help… 😉

#Steps for placing ads in every post!
1. Log in to your blogger beta account!
2. From your dashboard, click on “Layout”
3. Next click “Edit HTML”
4. Now Check “Expand Widget Templates” (by default it is unchecked)
5. Now search for post.body in codes. (Better use your browsers built-in search feature)
6. By default it should appear in your layout code only for once and you should reach the line…

<p><data:post.body></data:post.body></p>

Now if you want to put your adsense codes between post title and post body paste it above the line you found in step 6 or below the line to show ads after posts!
Wait its not over yet! You have to modify adsense codes a little-bit. But don’t worry about the TOS as this modification will not be visible after template gets saved. (In-fact I’m doing this only)
Your Google Adsense Codes will have following lines!

<script> type=’text/javascript’><!–
…..
//–>
</script>

just replace highlighted < with < and > with >
If you have any doubt about this please read note at the end!

#Tips: Using Blend template for Adsense!
From day one, I have been using Blend template for Google Adsense. But in above hack you must use that! I feel so because your ads will appear in every post and end-user experience may degrade if your color scheme is annoying!

#Note: How modification to the Adsense code is not against its TOS?
First you can open your blog and cross-check its source code using browsers “view source” option to see Adsense Codes back to what you have got!
Now if you know about HTML then in HTML language, we just used HTML Character Entities.
What gets stored in blogger database is actual code!
So don’t worry be happy & rich 😉

This is another GreaseMonkey Script from Devils Workshop for all orkuttians using firefox!

Recently I have seen lots of people on orkut keeping their scrapbook clean! Most of the time for privacy reason! This script will help them best as it is designed for them! I hope specially girls will find his useful!

Installation:

This will require Firefox and GreaseMonkey! (New to GreaseMonkey?)
After that click here to install Orkut Scrap Deleter Script. A window will pop-up just hit install option!
Script is installed but READ NEXT FEW LINES BEFORE LEAVING THIS PAGE!

By default, the script is ENABLED! As you can see in screenshot, a check-mark will appear right before name of script! (You have to right-click on GreaseMonkey icon in lower-right corner of Firefox window.)

Now if you are in orkut then just open or refresh your scrapbook and it will start deleting scraps from oldest one first! The only way to STOP this is close the tab/window (i.e. scrapbook page) first and then again going to GreaseMonkey menu, DISABLE the script!

To ENABLE/DISABLE you have to just check/uncheck the script respectively from GreaseMonkey menu! No need to UNINSTALL the script!

I hope you will like this! Lemme know if you get some problems I know this is a bit trick script!

Thank you all of u! Devils workshop crossed 100,000 visitors mark!

To all Devils’ Workshops’ Devils, This is first time I guess I am writing something personal or better say non-technical! The occasion is, the day before yesterday (on March 31) we have crossed 100,000 visitors mark!

I joined blogger around February 2006, but Devils workshop was started somewhere around June-July! Actually this blog was named ‘Here I am’ with dark black background till then! This blog is my first online presence on global Internet!

The popularity of Devils Workshop started to gain from August 2006, but due to my love to all of you readers & well-wishers we have decided to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Devils Workshop on May 7 when this workshop received its first comment by Uthfull. My first few posts has been removed for some technical reasons. 🙁

I don’t think I will be available on May 7 for any sort of celebration as I have to appear for my last exam starting from May 8 (Hooray, no more academic exams will be there after that!)

So here itself I want to specially thanks to some fellow bloggers Anil Wadghule (who brought me to the blogosphere), Chetan, Surun, Darnell, Amit Agrawal, Vijay Bhasker, Abhishek Bhatnagar and to all of you who helped this blog cross first 100K mark! 🙂

After long time I have written a GreaseMonkey script for orkut! As usual, this is only for firefox users! (Need help)

This script is for all orkut user having firefox!

This one basically replaces, all small pictures in orkut with their bigger counterpart!

It does not resizes pictures locally BUT fetches bigger picture from orkut server automatically!

Lemme give u a small example!

When you open say ur scrapbook, u see ur friends small image beside scrap!
But when you click on his profile, you will get a bigger image in his profile!
This script just replaces smaller images with their bigger counterpart!

This is for all orkuttians to whom looks matter! 😀

Requirement: Firefox + GreaseMonkey

Click here to install the script!
(Note: You no need to restart your browser or relogin to orkut if you are already logged in)

Just refresh orkut pages and you will get the enlarged pics! For further help, feel free to comment!

The new spam on orkut is flooding mailbox nowadays reads…

Lets intercept the truth (as usual)!
First Orkut is by Google so its bound to be free! (As per Google’s reputation and history)
And most important, there is no TIM BUISKI in orkut team! (Read this wikipedia page)

So you have now simplest way to download YouTube videos! If you like YouTube, but don’t have enough bandwidth to play YouTube videos online or for some other reasons want to download YouTube videos, probably for archiving on your hard-drive then I guess you have already looking for a way-out to do this! You might have also tried various softwares and extensions! Well this is end to your agony!

KISS Method:

Just get URL (address) of ur favorite YouTube video!

e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRTk0RPXtW4

Now add “kiss” before YouTube! So it will look like!

http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=tRTk0RPXtW4

Open the above address and you will get link to download video.

also the site provides a way to convert the same video in iPod compatible format!

This is for all who are earning from Google Adsense.

As you might have noticed, Adsense product referrals can not be hyperlinked statically as they get loaded by javascript code which are added to site.

Consider this, you write a post about firefox where you can not hyperlink firefox with link to adsense firefox referral directly. But you do have a adsense button to download firefox in your blogs sidebar. Chances are it will not get noticed. Also a phrase like “download firefox” must point to the download link in tutorial but if you give direct link to Mozilla site you will loose the bucks!

Now to solve this dilemma, the trick is to use HTML named anchor. You can hyperlink all keywords which can be monetized using Adsense referral without violating Google Adsense’ terms of service!

As an example lets start with Firefox again. Very often we ask people to download firefox for some reason while writing about an extension or some functionality which other browsers can not provide! Anyway the following tutorial similarly applies to other Google products viz Google Pack, Google Adsense & Google Adwords!

It is assumed that every page of your site has some common area and you will be placing Google Ads there only! e.g. Sidebar in blogs.

Procedure:
1. Just add following one-line before firefox codes provided by Google Adsense

<a name=”FIREFOX”></a>

Now whenever you want to hyperlink word you can do something like this

<a href=”#FIREFOX”>firefox</a>

Thats it! Now whenever someone click on these kinda links they will get redirected to the part of page where product referral link/button (in this case button to download firefox) is placed!

Note that this redirection will go unnoticed as at the max clicking will scroll up/down a page little. Nonew page will get loaded… 😉

As popularity of blogs goes on increasing, many countries started blocking entire blogsphere just because of some evil bloggers! While such a censorship can be justified is a matter of debate, rather expressing my opinion on the issue I am giving you the way to access blogs from blogspot domain without any loss in quality!

The pkblogs just do this! Its designed keeping blogspot in mind, so it won’t work for wordpress, movable type, typepad and other blogs!

When you go to site, you see a simple form like below,

Now to access Devils Workshop all you need to do is write rb286 in above box and hit enter!

Tips for bloggers: If you are already a blogger on blogspot domain then you may consider giving alternate pkblog url (i.e. http://pkblogs.com/BLOGNAME) to readers of ur blog!

e.g.: BLOGNAME for devils workshop is rb286. So its pkblog url will be http://pkblogs.com/rb286
