Use official multiple Google accounts sign-in feature

We have had Greasemonkey scripts for Firefox and extensions on Chrome which allow people to sign in and jump from one Google account to another with a simple click of a button.

Google has been working on multiple sign  in and I think it is being made widely available with many Google accounts.

Here is a image of my accounts which I managed to get multiple sign in option to be enabled.

How to enable Multiple Google accounts?

  • Just head over your Google accounts manager and then click on it to enable multiple sign in with Google.
  • This way once you log in you will see options as seen in the image below when ever your sign into your Google account for Google Calendar, Google Docs and Gmail.

  • This is great because from a security point of view its better than any external browser extension. 🙂
  • If this option is not available to you now, do not worry it should be there within the next couple of days.

We have covered on DW options of using multiple Gmail accounts on Firefox but this did involve downloading a Greasemonkey script which probably might have been a little too technical for non-techie users of Gmail. This new feature with Google will be quite useful and much easier.

How to Run Two Or More Skype Instance On the Same Computer

I always prefer streamlining my personal and professional life and I do it by using multiple Facebook account, multiple IM accounts, multiple Twitter account and so on. We have already talked about how to run  multiple Gtalk accounts and multiple Yahoo messenger account.

In this post I will be talking about how you can run multiple instance of Skype using a simple software known as Skype Launcher. Though other way apart from this software is, create another user account in your Windows and run another Skype with that user credentials. But this Software Skype launcher is a light weight software which will let you run no no. of Skype messenger into your windows system.

Log into multiple Gmail accounts on Firefox [Video]

I am sure a many of you have Gmail accounts and if you frequent internet a lot you might have two or even Gmail accounts. Sometimes for a backup, sometimes to keep work and personal related emails separate majority of us might have two Gmail accounts. For instance I have two accounts, one was a personal one, the other I use for testing purposes, like I used it during this post. 🙂

If you have two Gmail accounts and need to use them often it can be a bit of a bother considering when you sign-in with one account you cannot sign into the another account on the same browser. Rahul Bansal did write about it previously on how to go about using different profiles on firefox at the same time.

Recently I used another method by using a Firefox add on for using two Gmail accounts at the same time. For using this add-on you need to have Greasemonkey installed on your Firefox browser. If you are using Windows with Firefox you can install Greasemonkey from here.

Google Account Multiple Login

  • Gmail Multi User Login works only after you have installed Greasemonkey.
  • Download the add-on by clicking here.
  • The add-on is installed and you can use Gmail multi user login. 😉
  • Once this add-on is installed on Firefox it replaces the Sign-Out link to the right hand top corner of your Gmail account with a drop which allows you to log into another Gmail account.
